Hi,

sorry maybe you have not understood my issue, the designer works, the problem is when i try to open the customEditor from designer in order to add my customeditor.

I want to add my customEditor like the slidebar.

Is there any other way to add a customeditor without use the designer?

Hi,

i ihave installed your hotfix anyway we have the same error.

I have create an empty web application project and I have dragged from the toolbox the webgrid and after I have opened the the designer and clicked on CustomEditors and I have got the crash, is it possibile to have an hot fix that logs something that can catch the exception?

Hi Vincent,

I tested on windows server 2008 and also works well. Please try to apply WebGrid 7 hotfix again at attached sample. Please don't forget to remove the old one (ISNet.WebGrid.Editor.dll ) c:\windows\assembly and copy hotfix into it . Your application project bin folder is also needed to use the latest hotfix. If it still does not work, please send me a simple page that replicates this issue or recording about step by step to replicates the issue. My development computer environment is Windows 7 professional 32 bit.

Could you tell me the environment where it works in your test, so i could try to install a pc following your information. We need to work with custom editors is there anyother way to add one without using the designer?

Hi,

I installed the WebUI Studio 2009 SP1 Refresh
, I tried to open the CustomEditor from WebGrid.NET Designer and I got the the crash of the Designer.

Before to install the WebUI Studio 2009 SP1 Refresh, I uninstalled the previuos version in order to have a cleaned environment and anyway I have the problem.

I need to use the CustomEditor, please help me to fix the problem.
