You need to get the selected row index and store it. After that you can load the data using the method that my collegue inform in the thread.

Hi Madhavan,

I have asked this to our development team and they said that the plan to implement this feature is stopped because in the process they found that it could cause performance issue to WebGrid. That's why the feature didn't implemented.

Hi All,

I have raised this ticket long back for Webgrid 4.0 for

"Problem with retaining recod position with Paging mode and Refresh Grid [IS-03662BDD-7BDA-49C4-95CA-0DE42D3873D0]".

This incident is closed by Stating that we need to upgrade to webgrid 5.0 or webgrid 6.0 so that this enhancement will be available.

Currently we are using Webgrid 6.0.

Requirement is:

Say we have 20 records and virtualpagesize is say 5 .

First time it will load the grid with 5 records and click on load more data then it will load another 5 records.

I will select say 8th record and act on it .After acting we will refresh the grid.

After refreshing the grid is loading only the first 5 records.

We need to go to retain the Virtual page size after refresh means it should load other 5 records.
