I already inform your feedback to our developer, regarding BarcodeScan cancel returned result, but he may need to discuss regarding the implementation. Feel free to ask us regarding the fix schedule in this thread or preferably in our chat room.

Hello Crosslight Support,

when using the barcode reader and cancelling the barcode scan, the returned result is "Scanning canceled!".

Is it possible to return something more sophisticated? The only way to not make an action after the scan, is to parse the string for "Scanning canceled!".

Maybe I am missing something and there is a better way. If not, please return "null" when cancelling the scan or better return an object "BarcodeScanResult" with "Result" and "Canceled" as properties.
