I just got an update from the developer team.

Actually, you will need to integrate UXDialogBox with UXDesktop since the UXDesktop control will manage the window's location.

You can try our available sample from Start menu >> All Programs >> Intersoft WebUI Studio 2011 R1 >> WebUI Studio for Silverlight 4 >> Launch Window and Dock Integration Sample.

When you open Notepad from the dock navigation, then execute save command. It will open a dialog box. Notice that when you bring the dialog box at the top of your browser, it will automatically position itselft at the top.

Hope this helps.

Regards,
-Martin-

UXDialogBox Positioning Issue

Thats great.
I’m currently still investigating this issue and need more time to provide you with solution, suggestion, or sample.

I will try to discuss with the developer team whether this scenario is able to be implemented or not.

I'll get back to you as soon as possible.

Thank you.

UXDialogBox Positioning Issue

Hi,

Is there a way to prevent the UXDialogBox control from partly displaying outside of the browser window? The problem is that for some users the top part of the control is being cut off preventing them from moving the control and entering information.

I've tried to set the 'Top' property of the control to zero if less than zero, however it doesn't seem like it can be positioned using Top or Left. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Many Thanks,
