Please try to use the designer tools available in Expression Blend in order to customize the Add Event button in UXScheduleView control.

Open the UXScheduleView project in Expression Blend.
Open UXScheduleView xaml page in design view of Expression Blend.
Edit the UXScheduleView template by right-click on the UXScheduleView, click Edit Template, click Edit a Copy.
Select the UXToolGroup under UXToolBar within the Object and Timeline panel.
In the following sample, the Content is set to “Add New”; and the Width is set to 64.

I want to customize the Add Event Button in UXScheduler,I write the code like this:<Intersoft:UXScheduleView.AddButtonElement>

<Intersoft:UXButton x:Name="Add" />

</Intersoft:UXScheduleView.AddButtonElement>

But it doesn't work, would you tell me to solive the problem? thank you very much!
