For this issue, I have made a sample. I attach the sample here. In my sample, I'm using WebScheduler OnBeforeEdit client-side event. using the second parameter we should know the original and edited value. So we know the event that occurs in our WebScheduler. If this sample doesn't meet your requirement, please let me know.

Gentlemen,

Can you please guide me in the right direction on the following:

I need to validate certain conditions BEFORE allowing a color bar to be moved, (on the same resource and/or to different resource), and prevent UPDATING the database record.

Ultimately, I would like to display an error dialog box to the user telling them why the color bar/record cannot be moved, and prevent the color bar move and database record update default behaviour from occurring.

Can you please point me in the right direction as far as client side events and perhaps some sample code?
