My WebDesktop height is 100% also width set to 100%

The above hints helps me to reproduce the problem in my local end. It turns out that I have to drag the WebDesktopWindow until mouse pointer leaves the browser's window.

The reported problem has been forwarded to WebDesktop development team to be investigated further. It is filed under ASPNET-314. I will keep you updated with any news I heard from the team regarding ASPNET-314.

Dragging WebDialog window gets stuck in dragging state...

Sorry for the late reply.

I still get the same problem regarding this.

Just a correction, on step 3: When the mouse leaves the browser window not the WebDesktopManager.

My WebDesktop height is 100% also width set to 100%

Dragging WebDialog window gets stuck in dragging state...

Based on your information, I made a minor modification to SimpleWebDesktop.aspx (available in WebDesktop sample file). The details are:

Set Height of WebDesktopManager to 600px.

Set Width of WebDesktopManager to 800px.

The list below shows the step-by-step in order to reproduce the reported problem in my local end.

Save the above changes.

View the modified sample page in Chrome and/or Firefox browser.

Drag a window until mouse pointer leaves the WebDesktopManager canvas.

Drop or release the mouse down button.

Move the mouse pointer to enter the WebDesktopManager canvas again.

However, I was unable to replicate the reported problem in my local end by using this sample. For your information, I'm using WebDesktop 4.0.7200.14 and WebUI.NET Framework 3.0.5000.913.

Should you find anything that I might miss during my attempt to reproduce the problem, please feel free to let me know.

Dragging WebDialog window gets stuck in dragging state...

I have notice a problem with dragging a window in Chrome andalso FireFox( for some reason this is working in IE)

When dragging/moving a window and your mouse leaves the
WebDesktopManager Canvas for some reason the mouse up event does not fire.

This results in the window is still in a drag state when your mouse enters the canvas again.

Is there a javascript function that if your mouse leaves the
canvas that the dragged window is “dropped”?
