The reported problem is reproducible in my local end. It has been forwarded to the development team. The report is filed under ASPNET-398.

I'll let you know when the nightly build or hotfix is ready to be evaluated on your end.

Hello Yudi,

Please Find The attached Image, I have no problem copy pasting using ctrl+c and ctrl+c in other controls like web text editor, WebCombo, the issue is only with the webinput while I'm using Display Format tag. Please Test ctrl+c and ctrl+v in the numeric input screen, which I mentioned in the image attached below.

And its not an issue with my keyboard, Only look into the sample feature screen which the same as the image attached below and continue to old samples, as it woks at other screens of the webinput sample. Only the screen that I attached in the Image has the mentioned problem.

You can find in live demo of the webinput, that the keyboard controls "Ctrl+c" and "Ctrl+v" dont seem to work, any help regarding this context would be great.

I re-test the copy and paste problem with the following detail:

sample: live demo of the WebInput.
browsers: IE 11, Chrome 51.0, and Firefox 47.0
copy pasting method: using the keyboard controls, Ctrl+C and Ctrl+V

and was unable to replicate the reported problem in my local end (if required, I can provide a video). Copy and paste using the keyboard controls, Ctrl+C and Ctrl+V, works without a single problem.

Does this issue only happen in WebInput control or does this also occur in other programs like "Notepad"? If this happen on other application then you might want to try to uninstall your keyboard driver and restart your computer (as suggested in here and here).

Thanks for the quick response, I had no problem copy pasting using the mouse. I'm having the problem when I'm trying to copy, paste using the keyboard controls "ctrl+c" and "ctrl+v".

Please find the attached video file in WebInputCopyPaste.zip file. The video shows how copy-paste from WebInput 5 to various browsers - IE 11, Chrome 51.0, Mozilla Firefox 47.0, and Opera 37.0 - (and vice versa) works without problem.

Please feel free to let me know if you find anything that I might miss during my attempt to reproduce the reported problem.

I noticed that ctrl+c and ctrl+v i.e copy and paste donot work in the webinput control, please let me know if there is any property that enables copy, paste or any other way to enable copy, paste.
