I see you haven't gotten reply so I give some impressions here. I haven't tried different versions in the same application, but as I see it, it's not possible to run different versions in the same app because the dlls in the bin can only be of one version. On the same IIS server we've run different grid versions in separate applications without problem. We've updated the version 8 to 10 and had many grids overall in our application. The new version worked fine on all pages and no code changes were required in our case, except web.config changes and update the grid version on every aspx page headers.

How much efforts it will take to upgrade the grid from 8 to current version.

And is it possible to have two different versions of the grid in the same application.Like on home page WebGrid 10 and rest of the pages the WebGrid 8 itself , so that it is easier for us to test and work with newer version on one of the page first while keeping rest of the application as it with older version of the grid as its a huge application.
