Unfortunately, I still don't know yet what exactly the time. Our developer has some priorities before decided to enhance this. I will let you know when I got news about this.

Hello,

Yes, it seems our WebTreeView has not been enhanced for this scenario. If it only has WebCombo and you set the value in onLoad, then it should be get highlighted. I will create a wi to our Developer to enhance this feature. Thanks.

This worked by the way, Thanks!. I just have one more question. On the initial load of the data. I now see the text description. When I "drill" into the tree my value isn't selected (or highlighted). I noticed in your example it isn't either. Is this the functionality of the tree?

Sorry, I wasn't clear.

I have a WebGrid that has a WebCombo. Inside of the WebCombo is a WebTreeView. I dynamically create the WebTreeView in the Page_Load method of the code behind. My problem is on the initial load of the WebGrid, the data shows the value NOT the description(text).

I need to ensure several things so please help me to understand your requirement first.
You load data on WebTreeView in page load and i assume that you integrate WebTreeView inside WebCombo, correct?

And now, what is exactly you mean about other WebCombos on WebGrid? Do we still talk about the same WebCombo or another WebCombo which integrated into WebGrid? If that so, does the first WebCombo related into the other WebCombo? You mentioned it works correctly :-) and what exactly the issue?

I need this to figure out what are exactly you intended to do. Thank you.

I dynamically load my data for a WebTreeView in the PageLoad. When I run the code, the initial value showing is DataValueField. I have set both the DataTextField and DataValueField. I have other webcombos on the WebGrid that are displaying correct. I have dynamically bound the data and used the ValueList.

Any ideas?
