I use HttpWatch Professional 6.1 for Internet Explorer and found out that when the page that has Intersoft’s control is re-open, the resources that has not been modified since last request will be loaded from browser’s cache.

Please check the attached video that shows how the test was made on my end. hope this helps.

SmartWebResources Cache

Not a specific component, problem seems valid for all components using SmartWebResources (or Firebug mis reporting). You may even test from live.intersoftpt.com, open any sample in a new window, turnon Firebug and reload page. You will see that all static items except resources from ISRes.axd supplied from cache (304 Not Modified)

SmartWebResources Cache

Hi Somer B,

First of all, may I know what is the component that we are talking about? and, by default, our SmartWebResources will automatically do cache. So, could you kindly send me your sample that replicate the issue or provide the link of your particular Site? I will need those to investigate it furthermore.

When i monitor it with Firebug; i see that all files other than ISRes.axd are sent with "304 Not Mofified" (from cache), but resources in ISRex.axd always sent with "200 OK" (not cached).

How can i cache files in ISRes.axd resource file at clientside?
