With your help, the problem resolved. I used IE8.

It seems " <!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd">” cause this problem.

If i delete this , the grid show like what i want.

Hi Sunym,

I have tried to create a Hierarchical WebGrid like you did without MasterPageFile, and it seems alright. I have attached a screenshot and a sample code of the WebGrid that I made. If I may know, what browser are you using? and Have you ensured that you have already downloaded the latest HotFix from us?

Hello,

I am Sun Yanmei from Huidu Technology Co., Ltd., Chongqing, China.

I encountered a problem during using WebGrid.

When I create a new grid without “MasterPageFile”, the filter button on the left and dashed between grid and childGrid disappeared. But if I create with “MasterPageFile” ,it show right.

So I want to know if I create without “MasterPageFile” , what can I do to make grid show like using “MasterPageFile”.
