Unfortunately, i think it is not possible for now. In fact, that's also our default behaviour. If you want, please post it as feature request at our developer network>>Community center>>ProductFeedback>>Feature Request.

Adding blank row to Webgrid

HI,

We're having problems adding a blank row to a webgrid with a filter defined. We have a webgrid that is bound to an objectdatasource and when the user executes a filter on client side, if there is no matching records, we want the webgrid to display at least one blank record row.

Is there any way to achieve this? We have tried adding logic to the GetData method of the datasource to check if no rows are returned to add a new blank row, but this does not show up on the grid.
