Create WebGrid in Server-side programmatically but Error in Sorting

I want to sort when user click colums, but there is error when it clicked. (see attach: Error01.png)

There is not struncture of root table in webgrid.

only the code like:

Cannot set custom editor for Webgrid 10 in VS2015 Intersoft Component Designer

Hi All,

I have created a custom editor for Webgrid and added to the grid in the component designer, under Other Settings/Custom Editors. It is DHTMLClientControl (img1). I have specified the name and the JavaScriptFiles.

My problem is that if I edit the colums under Roottable/Columns and set EditType to Custom and I am trying to set the CustomEditorName property for this column with opening the dropdown (img2, right side), i see only an error message, img3 . This is error message is coming with the Webgrid tutorial solution included in
the tutorial project in C:\Program Files (x86)\Intersoft Solutions\Tutorials\cs too.

I am using VS2015, IIS Express and a file system based web site. SmartWebresources are enabled.

I searched the documentations but I found screenshots for older editors here: http://developer.intersoftsolutions.com/display/WebUI/Built-in+Custom+Editor . Is an up-to-date tutorial for custom editors there?

Also, if I specify the custom editor manually, I got an error message "Can't find implementation object for customeditor 'MonthEndCalendar'" .

I figured out that ISRes.axd tries to download MonthEndCalendar.js, so I copied my JS file to the CustomEditors folder under several names, but it didn't help, ISRes.axd didn't find it.
I also tried to rename one of the original JS files (Webgrid_Calendar.js) to see how ISRes,axd works but it was able to find the original file even if I renamed all occurences of this file (under CommonLibrary in the website and in Program Files/Intersoft Studio/... to).

What can be the problem here? Why is ISRes.axd unable to find my JS file?

I experienced also that WebGrid throws Javascript errors during calling the built in wgSetSelectedObject method, see wgSetSelectedObject.jpg please.

What can cause these several problems? Am I missing something during the installation? I copied the CommonLibrary folder into the root of our web application and all required DLLs are added to the project as a reference.

Windows 10 - IE 11 - Long Running Script Error

In IE 11 on Windows 10 we are experiencing some kind of infinite loop in the Web Grid. We get an error at the bottom of the page indicating a "Long Running Script" is preventing interaction with the page. It disappears when we turn off Compatability View, but the page layout is rearranged. We need a way to keep the layout of the page and prevent this error.

WebInput OnValidateError Client Side Event Not Firing - Urgent!

I've been facing lots of issues with Intersoft and I've been posting all of them just to get NO REPLIES. This is making it tough for the users alot. At the least the customer support should be good. I hope there will be a response for this.

The issue is, I am using a WebInput control for Date. It uses both DisplayFormat and EditFormat. For EditFormat, I've the validation. An associated client side event is OnValidateError. Though it worked fine the first time I tried, now the Event is invoking the JScript function multiple times. But it is calling the Default ErrorWindow Response correctly.

The reason I am using this JScript function is because, the default ErrorWindow is showing the error in different location. I've attached the screenshot for reference.

I am losing my patience already with Intersoft, because I was first using WebCalendar which had a rendering problem when deployed. I posted here and no replies. I replaced it with WebInput and now, this.

I really hope someone replies to this.

Error when creating a new Crosslight 2 project

After installing I get this error when creating a crosslight 2.0 project in Visual Studio.

I tried repairing the installation and still get the same result. Where do I find the logs and do I need to additional changes to get the new project to work?

Webcombo in jQuery Dialog control

I have webcombo defined on page in a div holder that is used for displaying jquery dialog.

careerOutlooksHolder div is turned into jQuery dialog on client-side pageLoad.

When dialog is opened, webcombo crashes on it's drop-down displayed. However if I use the same combo outside of the dialog, it works just fine.

As I said, it works just fine when it's not in dialog control.

Dynamically created WebCombo and the ISControl_InitializeAtlas error

Hi,

We are encountering an error on our page with a WebCombo. Our WebCombo is being generated in the code, and is being added to a control under an UpdatePanel. If the UpdatePanel uses a PostbackTrigger, it works fine. However, if we use an AsyncPostbackTrigger, we are receiving the error, "The value of the property 'ISControl_InitializeAtlas' is null or undefined, not a Function object" and the WebCombo is not rendered properly. Please see attached sample page.

I can confirm that the runtime licenses are supplied correctly on our web.config and that the ISNet.dll, ISNet.WebUI.dll, ISNet.WebUI.Resources.dll are on our website's bin folder, as indicated on some of the responses to similar problems I've found on this forum. If you notice, I also tried to add the <system.webServer /> tags on our web.config. All these did not resolve the error we're encountering.

This is happening on my local machine (Windows 7, VS2010) and on our app server (Windows Server 2008, IIS7).

We need to use the AsyncPostbackTrigger in this page as we have other controls that would be affected. Please help!

ClientUI Ribbon Template Errors

Hello All,

I have just installed ClientUI 2001 R2 successfully and am trying to create a new Intersoft ClientUI Ribbon application from template.

When I press F5 to run I get a XamlParseException error shown in the image file.

Any clues as to why I might get this, have tried on 2 machines, in both VB + C# - Same.

JSON Serialization error, when grouping

Hello!

I have webgrid with about 18000 rows. There is column ProductId, the count of ProductIds is closed to this value (18000). When webgrid is grouping this data by the ProductId column. I see error from the webgrid "Error during serialization or deserialization using the JSON JavaScriptSerializer. The length of the string exceeds the value set on the maxJsonLength property." I tried to increase value of maxJsonLength in web.config. But it does not solve the problem. (In this case, the webgrid just hung.) Is there any solution, except just not group by ProductId?

Is there any tutorial how I can use the webgrid in SharePoint?

I have a Sharepoint 2010 server, VS2010 and the newest version of WebGrid and I want to make some webparts.

I get some javascript errors.
