thanks for the reply.

Generate a treefrom the database and handle it from the backend code is the most importand part in my project.

If we consider the treeview, populating tree from database is a very basic feature. And once populated , then have the control from the backend is the nesessary thing to have in it.

Please let me know , if your development team have any solution for this.

Expecting the solution soon from the "award winning team".

Hi,

From the sample, if the scenario is LoadOnDemand, after postback, the selected child would be gone because the treeview is collapsed. But after investigating this issue, it seems we also have an issue when set node programmatically. On your sample, if i set LoadOnDemand false, the child is not selected after postback. That's why you always get error or null with the code we gave you. I will submit this to our developer and disccuss with them again.

For Expanded images, it seems the path is not correct again in our latest hotfix (regression). This could also a bug.

thanks for your reply. Whatever you mentioned is not working for me. please find the below attachment which is your given samble in which i tried to

1. catching selected node from the backend

2. put expanded image for the node

Both is not working for me.

Hi ca,

I also used those code and works fine. You can modify my sample by adding the textbox and see the value. Could you send me a simple sample (runnable) that replicates the issue? Maybe something missing at your sample. Also about Expanded image, you will need to set image properties before you can use expanded image properties.

i have created, tree using the method you defined (using database). It is working almost, except some properties like expanded image etc.

Can you please tell me , how can i get the selected node from the backend. Means i want to get the selected node on a button click.

the above given code is not working.
