&lt;p&gt;Unfortunatelly calenders is built-in feature in with WebScheduler so you can't use it separately. You can use your trick if you want, since we don't provide that feature in WebScheduler.&lt;/p&gt;

I am able to set the CustomContainerID to have the calendars displayed in their own pane and then set the scheduler pane to visible = false, but I would like to know if there is a better way.&lt;/p&gt;
