i have Web Grid 7.0.7200.405

and WebUI framework 3.0.5000.755

Hello KArl,

Please try to use our latest hotfixes. Some layout issues that caused by XHTML doctype should be have fixed in the latest hotfixes of WebGrid7. For better result, please also use the latest hotfixes of WebUI Framework.
To obtain the latest hotfixes, please simply run UpdateManager.

I get a similar issue on a static sized grid after deleting, i have set the height at 520px. After deleting teh grid extends off the bottom of the display. I've included before and aftger iamge.

Mine is a heirarchial grids with children auto-expanded.

I am testing in IE8, if I enable IE7 compatibility mode the problem does not happen.

page uses

I did forget to precise that I'm using the grid without setting the height so that it automatically fits with the content.

I tried to remove the height (153 px in your sample) but I can't replicate the problem.

All I can see you is the first image of the discussion.

Hello,

I reattached again. You got error when deleted because there is no delete query. Please see my attachment sample. Before you delete, try to add some new rows with Region = 'SP'.

Hello,

This is because there are too many records.

Maybe can you try to set

SelectCommand="SELECT * FROM [Customers] where [Region] = 'SP'"

in the access datasource, and retry to delete some records. You will see the display error.

I didn't modify your sample beacause there was an error (see picture) when I tried to delete some records.

The webgrid is inside an ASP panel. It has nothing special and the layout settings are the following :

<LayoutSettings PagingMode="ClassicPaging" PagingLoadMode="Custom" AllowDelete="Yes" AllowEdit="Yes" EditOnClick="true" AllowBatchUpdate="true">
            <BatchUpdateSettings AllowReviewChanges="true" NotifyOnLostFocus="false" />
        </LayoutSettings>

It only happens when I delete a row.

Hello,

See the picture : when I delete a row, the grid is automatically resized (that is OK) but the slider for the pagination is displayed over the last row.

Do you have any idea what is the cause ?
