Hi Udayan,

There’s no way to achieve that except by using your currently method. You must hide the column which you don’t want to add in you excel first then you can select the multiple column and copy it to your excel. Our Multiple Selection property can only be used for taking all the row values. You couldn’t take part of the row value and copy it in your excel. You also can show your hidden column again.

For your license problem, I consulted with our sales representative. You can use the license now because they have reset your license here. For your information, if you want to uninstall our products, please remove your license and make sure that your PC have internet connection.

Hello Bernard,

One of the major requirement in my project is to select multiple cells from one of the columns and paste it in excel. Currently, the users are filtering the columns first, then hiding all the other columns and then they are doing a Row Selection of all the filtered values from that columns. Its a 3 step process for them and its time consuming considering they access 100s of columns at one time.

Please propose any better way of achieving the same result.

(On a relatively different topic, I have restaged my laptop recently and now am not able to add the License back to the License Manager. I am getting the error - The activation count has exceeded the maximum allowed usage of this license. I have mailed about this concern to the accounts department but havent heard back from them. Can you please suggest what to do?)

Hello Udayan,

For this case, AllowMultipleSelection property only affected when you use Row Selection mode. For now our features doesn't support Multiple Cell Selection but you can take the specific cell value in some row using Client-Side method.

Hello,

Is there a way to select multiple cells in the webgrid at one time and copy the data from those cells? I have a new request that has come from the users asking for this functionality on top of Multiple Row selection that is currently achieved by flagging AllowMultipleSelection="Yes"
