Currently the built-in exporting functionality only available to HTML, PDF, TIFF, RTF, Excel, Text, and XML format. CSV file types is not yet supported by WebGrid built-in exporting functionality.

I am trying to export the content of the grid to Text( after finding out there is no easy way of exporting the contents of the grid to csv). But it is showing random values in the columns. For Example the values from a column are truncated, some garbage characters appear in incorrect places, document is not correctly formatted for a csv.

This happens irrespective of the size of the export.

Btw is there are workaround to get csv files to be exported from the webgrid.
