Unfortunately it is not possible to drag and drop rows within WebGrid instance.
Should you need this feature implemented in the next build version of WebGrid, please kindly submit this as feature request.

Yes sorting on WebGrid by dragging and dropping, but its upon user to drag and drop any row anywhere.

The user can take the 2nd row and put at 5th position. When the user does this there is a hidden column LineNo which will be updated based on which position the user has drag droped the row.

My senario is Drag Drop in the same webgrid, not outside but within the webgrid.

Does the “want to order by WebGrid rows by dragging and dropping rows in the WebGrid” mean do sorting on WebGrid by dragging and dropping?
