Hello,

After I checked the script in WebCombo2, it seems the script is in .jse format, not.js. In MIME type IIS7.5, it only accepts .js script. Perhaps, you can try to add .jse in MIME type and see what happens.

I have the same problem with the webcombo 2.0. The difference is that I have Windows Server 2008 with IIS 7, but I think that the problem is somewhere else.

In the attachment you can see what is my structure of files.

Please be so kind and help me. What about mime types? Which one should be applied?

Hi Nicola,

I need more details to investigate your issue. FYI, we have discontinued hotfix for old product such as WebGrid 3.5. If any error that occured with the latest hotfix, we would not release hotfix for that. I can help as much as I can to help you in solving the problem that encountered.

Handy, just a question: after I try to add a new row in webgrid I got a msgbox with only a "?".

Also I can see a javascript error:

"Argument not valid

this file exist, can you help me?

Hi Nicola,

Ok, let us reschedule the time to remote to your environment.

Since your environment server is Windows Server 2003, please refer into this link.
Sometimes, the script could not be loaded due to MIME type in IIS metabase.

Hi Handy,

ok, I've disinstalled all components. My project (TNTWeb.it) is a virtual directory in IIS and CommonLibrary (folder inside my project) is a virtual directory too with permission into everyone.

I attached a file so you can see webgrid is empty and webcombo is locked.

Can You explain me how update components? If I xcopy my bin project (with all dll) and CommonLibrary folder I don't need to update components, right?

Server Environment: Windows Server 2003 (the same of previous) on a Virtual Server

Hello Nicola,

When deploy an application, you should not instal our components at server. You only need to x-copy the project and add your runtime license key. The project would need also to be set as virtual directory and set the permission into everyone.
For javascript erros, there could be some causes. May I know also your environment server?
Please also ensure you used the latest assemblies and scripts.

Hi all,

I've formatted my server which ran my application with old Intersoft's component (webgrid 3.5 and webcombo 2.0).

I've installed that components on the server but if I try to run project and I try to change value of webcombo, I get a javascript errors and WebCombo seems to be locked and webgrids are always empty.

I've a CommonLibrary folder with virtual directory in IIS, so what can I do to solve this issue?

It's very important for me...
