You have just crossed to the areas where our framework is really strong at. Yes, our ClientUI suite includes navigation framework that allows seamless navigation to external XAP packages. Best of all, you can still use the same user-friendly URI mapping which maps to an external XAP. Downloading and installing to isolated storage are supported out-of-the-box.

Sounds great!

Perhaps you have already covered this elsewhere but do you have anything to help support async downloading of assemblies or xaps to be dynamically downloaded as you navigate to a view inside an assembly? The MEF or PRISM routes don't properly support the assembly caching so we are left to roll our own. It feels like that would be a good addition to your framework if you don't already have it.

Thank you for your interest in UXGridView. We appreciated your feedback and feature requests.

Just want to confirm that the IsReadOnlyBinding will be implemented in both the Row and Cell level in the upcoming UXGridView RC release, which is due in the next couple days.

At the meantime, please review our latest CTP bits and test-drive our comprehensive MVVM support for the data validation and editing. Feel free to post your feedback and questions in the forum.

We currently don't have that feature for now. However, we can implement the feature in this R1 release. Therefore, having this feature in UXGridView is possible.

Hello, I have been developing a business application using Silverlight and Devforce for two years now and we are heavily dependent upon a strong gridview. We use the MVVM pattern and are currently using Teleriks RadGridView with moderate success. One feature that we had to implement first with Microsofts DataGrid, then with the RadGridView, and now Telerik has added the feature - is a IsReadOnlyBinding at the column/cell level that is evaluated when the cell attempts to enter edit mode. There is also one at the row level that takes precedence over the cell. This is very important for us and before I test your grid I was wondering if this is, can, or will be implemented in any form - or, is there a simple way for me to implement it myself.
