Some Bugs Regarding ClientUI

I’d like to update the status of this thread.

- DateTimePicker crashes when i drag the AM/PM slider as well as the hours, minutes second hands. I have not found the cause of the bug.

-Lastly, UXListbox does not do drag drop very well with multiple windows open. Only drag drop can be done by the MainWindow, which is set at Application.Current.MainWindow. Attempting a drag drop on a non MainWindow will cause it to crash.

Those issues, as shown in the quoted text above, are considered as bug in multiple windows. This bug will be fixed in the upcoming build of ClientUI.

-UXListBox crashes. This occurs when I use a ContentControl as the Window.Content instead of the standard Grid control. basically, doing this(where UserControl1 contains the UXListBox): new Window() { Content = new UserControl1() }.Show();

This is not a bug. It is considered as control limitation. Most of ClientUI controls need to be placed inside a panel.

I’ll keep you updated with any news I heard from the team regarding the hotfix. Thank you.

I was able to reproduce the issue and will discuss this with the development team for further investigation. I’ll inform you with the work item number for each issue so that you can track the progress based on the work item number.

Hello, unfortuntately i am still evaluating the product and i can't seem to get the update installed (trial version). Anyway i can get around that?

Please try to apply the latest hotfix of ClientUI, 4.0.5000.4, and let us know if the issue still persists.

You can try to use the Intersoft Update Manager application in order to check and install the updates automatically.

In the Listbox with the title that says "Drag Items here", when i drag the item and let go, it crashes.

The WpfApplication1 crashes as soon as i run it.

My version is 3.0.5000.1. I downloaded the trial from your site. Can that be the reason?

I have tried your attached project.

I could replicate the 1st issue for DateTimePicker control, but I'm not sure whether your error and mine are the same. Could you send me a screenshot of your crashed error?

I'm not clear enough with the 2nd and 3rd issue? Could you provide a step-by-step instruction on how to replicate UXListBox crashes from your project? It's better if you could provide me with a screenshot as well, so that I could have a clear view on the issue.

I tried replicating the bugs with similar results. Just wasn't what i thought it was. In my case it seems like putting a it in a grid fixed it. I guess the issue was something else.

Unfortunately, I couldn't replicate your issue at the moment. Perhaps, there is something that I have missed during the testing process.

Could you kindly provide a simple working sample that replicates your issue, so that I could test your project on my end and provide a solution for this issue?

Hello,

I have been working on the ClientUI for a while now and i think it is awsome.

The MVVM elements, the drag drop framework and the visual appeal of your controls.

However, i have been facing some bugs with regards to WPF Desktop application development(Not XBap). Meaning there would be multiple windows etc.
